May 6: EL PASO, TX - High winds forced  FUTURES Tour officials to stop second-round play early yesterday.

When play was called at 1:30 local time, Julie had completed 15 holes.

Rather than return this morning at 6:45 AM to play the final three holes, Julie chose to withdraw from the tournament and head back home to Portland a day early.

"Scores would be much lower and because of it the cut was going to be somewhere around +9 or +10," said Julie in her most recent blog entry that recapped her weekend in El Paso. "So I decided that rather than return at 6:45 a.m. to play three holes and miss the only flight that would get me home on Sunday, I would withdraw, and head home."

Julie's next event is the Aurora Health Care Championship .
